Abubakar, also known as Dhok Chamba, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, where wheat and groundnut are farmed and the Salt Range runs along the plateau's southern edge.
In a straight line, Abubakar is about 26 km from Rawalpindi, 37 km from Islamabad airport, 55 km from Dhudial and 63 km from Chakwal city. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
