This is Arar.

Arar is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab of Pakistan. It is also spelt Arrar. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry, ravined ground where farming has long depended on rain, with wheat and groundnut grown across the region and the Salt Range rising to the south.

Several well-known places lie within a short distance. The Katas Raj temples are about 7 km away in a straight line, Choa Saidan Shah 10 km, the Malot temple 11 km, and Dandot in the Salt Range 14 km. As in many homes across this plateau, many families connected to Arar have members in the army or working abroad, so this page is a place for them to meet.
