Baigal is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also spelt Begal or Begāl. In a straight line, Chakwal city is about 23 km away, Talagang about 26 km, Dhudial about 29 km, and the Kallar Kahar lake about 30 km.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where farmers grow wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range rises to the south. Like many families in this area, many households here have members serving in the army or working abroad.
