This is Barlas.

Barlas is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines with the Salt Range to the south. Its fields depend on rain, and wheat and groundnut are the crops of this land.

In a straight line, Barlas is about 44 km from Dhudial, 54 km from Chakwal city, 58 km from Choa Saidan Shah and 60 km from the Katas Raj temples.

Like many families in this region, many here have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Barlas, its people and its days, is still to be told by the villagers themselves.
