Bura Pudhal (also spelt Bura Budhal or Budhāl) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it lies about 30 km from Rawalpindi, 32 km from Islamabad airport, 41 km from Dhudial and 47 km from Chakwal city.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry, ravined ground where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are grown here, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Across the plateau, many families have members in the army or working abroad.
