Chak Bhown is a chak in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. A chak is a settlement from the canal era, when new land was opened up for farming.
The village lies in the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are grown, with the Salt Range to the south. As in many families across this land, members of many households serve in the army or work abroad.
