Chakora is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is about 5 km from Chakwal city, 14 km from Dhudial, and 19 km from the Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farming depends on rain. Families grow wheat and groundnut, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Across the plateau, many families have members in the army or working abroad.
