Chakri is a village in District Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are grown here, and the Salt Range lies to the south. In a straight line, Choa Saidan Shah and the Malot temple are each about 34 km away, Dandot in the Salt Range about 35 km, and the Katas Raj temples about 37 km.
