This is Daultala.
Daultala is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, where farmers grow wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range rises to the south.
In a straight line, Daultala is 31 km from Dhudial, 39 km from Chakwal city, 46 km from Rawalpindi and 49 km from Islamabad airport.
Like many families across the Potohar, people from here have served in the army or worked abroad. The full story of Daultala, its families and its history is still to be told by its own people.
