Dhaular is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, and is part of Talagang Tehsil. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Talagang is about 16 km away in a straight line, Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 47 km away.

Dhaular is one of the oldest and largest villages in the area, with about 6,500 people counted in the 1998 census, and it is the second largest village in its tehsil by area. Its families farm wheat, groundnut and black peas on land where there is no irrigation system, and many of its families have members serving in the army or working abroad.

The village is known for its unique breed of racing bulls. The story of its families, its elders and its old places is for the people of Dhaular to tell in their own words.
