Dhok Ahir is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also spelt Bher Ahir or Bher Ahīr.

The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines with the Salt Range to the south. Farming here depends on rain, and the wider plateau is known for wheat and groundnut. Many families in this part of the country have members serving in the army or working abroad.

Dhudial is about 30 km away, Chakwal city 37 km, Rawalpindi 42 km and Islamabad airport 43 km, all in a straight line. The fuller story of Dhok Ahir, its families and its days, is still to be told by the people who live here and by those who carry it abroad.
