The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are the crops grown here, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 15 km away. Dandot in the Salt Range and the Katas Raj temples are each about 25 km away.
