This is Dhok Arazi.
Dhok Arazi is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. You may also see it written as Arazi Dhok, Arāzi Dhok or Dhak Arazi. It is the same home.
In a straight line, it lies about 37 km from Talagang, 62 km from Lawa, 67 km from Chakwal city, and 66 km from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange. The land here belongs to the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined ground with the Salt Range to the south. Farming depends on rain, and wheat and groundnut are the crops the plateau is known for.
Many families in this part of Chakwal have members serving in the army or working abroad. The village's own story, of its people and its past, is still to be told by the families who live here and by those who carry it with them from far away. Share it here.
