This is Dhok Baddar.
Dhok Baddar is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields of wheat and groundnut, with the Salt Range to the south. By straight line, Chakwal city is about 40 km away, Dhudial about 30 km, Choa Saidan Shah about 38 km, and the Malot temple about 39 km.
Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Baddar, its families and its daily life is still to be told by the people who know it best.
