Dhok Kharli is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, where the land is dry and cut by ravines, and farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are the crops grown in this part of the plateau, and the Salt Range rises to the south.
The hamlet is about 23 km in a straight line from Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway, and about 38 km from the Katas Raj temples and Talagang. Across the wider plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
