This is Dhok Lalu.

Dhok Lalu is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is about 18 km from Kallar Kahar lake, from Dandot in the Salt Range, and from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway, and about 19 km from the Katas Raj temples.

The land around the village is part of the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined ground where farmers grow wheat and groundnut on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south. As in many Potohar households, members of many families here serve in the army or work abroad.

This page is a place for the people of Dhok Lalu to share their own memories, names and stories. The full story of the village is still to be told by those who live here and those who have left it.
