This is Dhok Mirbaz.
Dhok Mirbaz, also written Dhok Sher Baz, is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
In a straight line, Dhudial is 43 km away, Chakwal city 53 km, Choa Saidan Shah 56 km and the Katas Raj temples 58 km. Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad, and this dhok is part of that same story.
The fuller history of Dhok Mirbaz, its families and its daily life is still to be told, and it is for the people of this dhok to tell it.
