This is Dhok Niaz Ali.
Dhok Niaz Ali is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line it is 16 km from Rawalpindi, 23 km from Islamabad airport, 55 km from Dhudial and 61 km from Chakwal city.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, dry land cut by ravines, where farming depends on rain and families grow wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range rises to the south. Across this land, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Dhok Niaz Ali, its families and its years is still to be told, and the people of the village are the ones to tell it.
