This is Dhok Qadoo.
Dhok Qadoo is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet, in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It sits in the Potohar plateau, a region of dry, ravined land where farming depends on the rain, and the Salt Range rises to the south.
The hamlet is close to some well-known places. Choa Saidan Shah is about 16 km away in a straight line, the Katas Raj temples about 17 km, and Dhudial and the Malot temple about 18 km each.
In this part of Chakwal, many families have members who serve in the army or work abroad. The fuller story of Dhok Qadoo, its families and its daily life, is still to be told by the people who live here and those who carry its name overseas.
