Dhok Samolas, also spelt Dhok Sammu, is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Here the farming is wheat and groundnut, and life follows the seasons and the rain.
In a straight line, the village is about 42 km from Dhudial, 43 km from Choa Saidan Shah, 44 km from the Malot temple and 46 km from the Katas Raj temples. Like many families across the plateau, households here have members serving in the army or working abroad.
