Dhok Sawi (also written Dhok Sawj) is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 32 km in a straight line from Chakwal city, 34 km from Dhudial, 40 km from Talagang and 43 km from Islamabad airport, so it is close to the main towns and roads of the region.

It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, where wheat and groundnut are grown and the Salt Range rises to the south. Like many families across the Potohar, some families here have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Sawi, its families and its daily life is still to be told, and this page is open for its own people to tell it.
