Dhok Thag is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south. In a straight line, the village is about 15 km from Talagang, 36 km from Chakwal city, 35 km from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange, and 36 km from Kallar Kahar lake.
On this plateau, farming depends on the rain, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. Those who left and those who stayed share the same land and the same ties.
