Dhung is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also spelt Dhaung, Dhoong and Dhūng. In a straight line, Dhudial is about 22 km away, Chakwal city about 31 km, and the Katas Raj temples and Choa Saidan Shah about 45 km each.
Dhung lies in the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where families grow wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range rises to the south. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
