Forpothi, also spelt Pothi, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Here families farm wheat and groundnut, and the crops depend on the rain.
Forpothi is about 40 km in a straight line from Choa Saidan Shah and from the Malot temple, about 42 km from Dhudial, and about 43 km from the Katas Raj temples. Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. If you are one of them, this page is for you.
