Gabbi is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The land around it is part of the Potohar plateau, a dry country of ravines where farming depends on the rain. Families here grow wheat and groundnuts on this rain-fed land, with the Salt Range rising to the south.

Their earnings and their hopes travel far, and so does their love for this place.
