The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are grown across this region, and the Salt Range rises to the south. In a straight line, Rawalpindi is about 25 km away, Islamabad airport 41 km, Dhudial 66 km and Chakwal city 74 km.
