This is Gulyal.
Gulyal is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
Talagang is about 24 km away and Lawa about 33 km. Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 37 km away in a straight line. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The village's own story is still to be told, and its people are the ones to tell it.
