Hardosaba is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Farming here depends on the rains, and families grow wheat and groundnut.
As in much of the Potohar, many families from Hardosaba have members serving in the army or working abroad. Wherever they live, their roots remain in this village. The fuller story of Hardosaba, its people and its past, is still to be told by the villagers themselves.
