This is Hidwala Gujran.
Hidwala Gujran (also spelt Hadwala Gujaran) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it lies about 29 km from Rawalpindi, 43 km from Islamabad airport, 62 km from Dhudial and 70 km from Chakwal city.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Across this plateau, wheat and groundnut farming are common, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The sources available to us say little more about the village's own history and customs. Its full story is still to be told, and it will be told best by the people who have lived here and whose families carry it across the world.
