Janga Bangial (also spelt Jhanga Bangial or Jhanga Bangiāl) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry, ravined ground where farming depends on rain, and where people grow wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range rises to the south.
In a straight line, the village is about 47 km from Rawalpindi, 55 km from Dhudial, 59 km from Islamabad airport and 64 km from Chakwal city. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
