This is Kasran.
Kasran is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it lies about 54 km from Islamabad airport, 63 km from Talagang, 72 km from Rawalpindi and 81 km from Chakwal city.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Across this plateau, farming families grow wheat and groundnut, and many households have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Kasran, its families and its memories is still to be told, and it will be told best by the people of the village themselves.
