Kechhi is a village in District Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. The land around it is the Potohar plateau: dry, cut by ravines, with the Salt Range to the south, and farming that depends on rain.
By straight line, Kechhi is about 30 km from Kallar Kahar lake, 31 km from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway, 34 km from Dandot in the Salt Range, and 37 km from the Katas Raj temples. As in much of this region, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
