Kukar is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, Lawa is about 27 km away, Talagang about 36 km, the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange about 46 km, and Kallar Kahar lake about 47 km.
The land of this region is dry and cut by ravines, part of the Potohar plateau, with the Salt Range to the south. Farming depends on rain, and the fields grow wheat and groundnut. Many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
