Makarmi, also spelt Mukrumi, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 24 km from Lawa and 40 km from Talagang. In a straight line, it is about 51 km from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange, and the Kallar Kahar lake is about 52 km away.

The village is part of the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined land where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are grown here, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Many families in this area have members serving in the army or working abroad.
