گاؤں منگا ضلع چکوال، پنجاب، پاکستان میں واقع ہے۔ یہ پوٹھوہار کے سطح مرتفع پر آباد ہے، جہاں خشک ندی نالوں والی زمین ہے اور بارش پر انحصار کرنے والی کھیتی باڑی ہوتی ہے، جس میں گندم اور مونگ پھلی اگائی جاتی ہے۔ جنوب میں کوہستانِ نمک کی پہاڑیاں ہیں۔ راولپنڈی یہاں سے سیدھی لکیر میں تقریباً 25 کلومیٹر، اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ 39 کلومیٹر، ڈھڈیال 61 کلومیٹر اور چکوال شہر 69 کلومیٹر کے فاصلے پر ہے۔
This is Manga.
Manga is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are farmed. To the south rise the hills of the Salt Range. In a straight line, Rawalpindi is about 25 km away, Islamabad airport about 39 km, Dhudial about 61 km, and Chakwal city about 69 km.
Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Manga, its families and its days, is still to be told, and it is for the people of Manga to tell it.
