This is Mohra Kalia.
Mohra Kalia (also written Mohra Kamial) is a small hamlet in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. As the crow flies, it lies about 38 km from Dhudial, 48 km from Chakwal city, 53 km from Choa Saidan Shah and 54 km from the Katas Raj temples.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south. Farming here depends on the rain, and wheat and groundnut are the crops of the fields.
Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Mohra Kalia and its people is still to be told by the villagers who know it best.
