The village lies in the wider Potohar plateau, a region of dry, ravined land where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are grown across the area, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Many families in this part of Chakwal have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of this village is still to be told, and its people are the ones to tell it.
