This is Pariwali Dhok.
Pariwali Dhok is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 63 km from Chakwal city, 46 km from Talagang, 67 km from Dhudial, and 49 km in a straight line from Islamabad airport.
The land around it is dry and cut by ravines, typical of the Potohar plateau, with the Salt Range to the south. Farming depends on rain, and families grow wheat and groundnut. Many households have members serving in the army or working abroad, so the village stays close to those who have gone far away.
The fuller story of Pariwali Dhok, its history and the memories of its people, is still to be told, and it is for the people of the village to tell it.
