Salt Chauk is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are farmed, with the Salt Range rising to the south.

In a straight line, Kallar Kahar lake is about 10 km away, the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway about 11 km, the Katas Raj temples about 21 km, and Choa Saidan Shah about 24 km.
