Talagang is about 16 km away in a straight line, and Chakwal city is 35 km. The Kallar Kahar lake and the M2 motorway interchange at Kallar Kahar are each about 18 km away.
The Salt Range rises to the south. On this rain-fed land, families farm wheat and groundnut, and many households have members serving in the army or working abroad.
