This is Walana.

Walana is a village in Tehsil Kallar Kahar, District Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. It sits at about 511 metres above sea level on the Potohar plateau, a dry, ravined land of rain-fed fields with the Salt Range to the south. In a straight line, the village is about 14 km from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange, 15 km from Kallar Kahar lake, 19 km from Talagang and 22 km from Chakwal city. The 2023 census recorded a population of 2,182. Neighbouring places include Bhatti Gujar and Pippli to the east, Bharpur to the south-west, Hattar to the south and Dharabi to the north-west.

Walana is best known for the Walana Dam and the Darbar of Baba Sheikh Dawood. Like many families across the Potohar, many here have members serving in the army or working abroad, and this page is a place for them to stay connected to home.
