Waryaman is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The land here is dry and cut by ravines, and farming depends largely on rain. The wider Potohar plateau, where this district lies, is known for wheat and groundnut farming, with the Salt Range rising to the south.
Across this part of Punjab, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad, and the bonds between those who leave and those who stay run deep. Waryaman does not yet have a map point of its own, so we ask those who know it best to help place it.
