Aminabad is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 6 km from Dhudial and 8 km from Chakwal city, on the dry, ravined land of the Potohar plateau. Kallar Kahar lake and the M2 motorway's Kallar Kahar interchange are each about 29 km away in a straight line.

The land here is rain-fed, and farmers have long grown wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range lies to the south. As across much of the Potohar, many families in this area have members serving in the army or working abroad.
