Chakki, also spelt Chaki, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 39 km from Talagang, 60 km from Lawa, 68 km from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange, and 69 km from the Kallar Kahar lake.
The land around the village is part of the Potohar plateau, a dry country of ravines where wheat and groundnut are grown on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Many families in the area have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The village's own story, its people and its history, is still to be told by the people of Chakki themselves.
