The hamlet sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. In a straight line it is about 30 km from Kallar Kahar lake and from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway, 36 km from Talagang, and 48 km from the Katas Raj temples.
