This is Dhok Bhattian.
Dhok Bhattian, also spelt Dhok Bhatti, is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are grown, with the Salt Range to the south. As the crow flies, Dhudial is 33 km away, Islamabad airport 34 km, Chakwal city 37 km and Rawalpindi 39 km.
Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The story of Dhok Bhattian itself, its families and its days, is still to be told, and its own people are the ones to tell it.
