Dhok Chhab, also spelt Chhab, is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
The hamlet is about 20 km from Talagang and 42 km from Chakwal city. Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 43 km away in a straight line.
Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Chhab, its families and its days is still to be told by the people who live here and by those who carry it with them overseas.
