ڈھوک کلاں خان ضلع چکوال، پنجاب، پاکستان کی ایک ڈھوک ہے، یعنی کھیتوں کے درمیان بسا ہوا چھوٹا سا گاؤں۔ یہ پوٹھوہار کے سرسبز مگر خشک نالوں والے سطح مرتفع پر واقع ہے، جہاں بارش پر انحصار کرتی زمین ہے اور جنوب میں کوہِ نمک کا سلسلہ ہے۔ راولپنڈی یہاں سے تقریباً 21 کلومیٹر، اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ تقریباً 35 کلومیٹر، ڈھudiyal تقریباً 60 کلومیٹر اور چکوال شہر تقریباً 67 کلومیٹر کے فاصلے پر ہے۔

In a straight line, Rawalpindi is about 21 km away, Islamabad airport about 35 km, Dhudial about 60 km, and Chakwal city about 67 km.
Like many families across this plateau, the people of Dhok Kala Khan have long worked the land and sent their sons and daughters out into the wider world, to the army and to jobs abroad.
