This is Dhok Qazi.
Dhok Qazi is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a dry country of ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Wheat and groundnut are the main crops farmed across this plateau.
Dhok Qazi is about 11 km in a straight line from Kallar Kahar lake and from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange. Talagang is about 20 km away, and Chakwal city about 25 km.
Across the Potohar plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Qazi, its families and its people is still to be told by those who live here and those who carry it with them overseas.
