This is Dhok Sojian.
Dhok Sojian is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet, in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. Measured in a straight line, it is about 18 km from Dhudial, 27 km from Chakwal city, and 42 km from the Katas Raj temples and from Choa Saidan Shah.
The land around it is part of the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined ground where families farm wheat and groundnut on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Many families in this area have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Dhok Sojian, its people and its everyday life is still to be told, and this page is open for its own people to tell it.
